A global fashion retailer arranged for Agility to move 23 containers of garments from Chittagong, Bangladesh, to the company’s distribution facility in Vigo, Spain. The cargo needed to arrive in one month’s time. It was to be shipped to Colombo, Sri Lanka, for loading aboard another vessel bound for Spain. But Agility’s operations team discovered that only five of the 23 containers made it onboard due to a mix-up at the dock. Agility wasted no time negotiating for a second vessel to be loaded and sent to Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia, where the left-behind containers were put on a ship bound for Spain. Agility’s quick action resulted in all 23 containers arriving at the company’s center in Spain on time – and together.

A leading multinational engineering, automotive, industrial and building products supplier was facing a crisis in its warehousing of automobile spare parts, VAS and secondary distribution network. So this long-time customer turned to Agility for more help. The company shifted using to Agility’s world-class shared warehousing facility in Tongi, located just 2 kilometers away from Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. Agility also became responsible for value-added services and periodic cycle counting. We managed over 500 SKUs in different storage BINs in line with WMS. We provided 100% on-time delivery and 99.9% inventory accuracy. The company increased the warehouse space it uses from 2,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet, and is contracting for us to handle more products.
