Reference to our previous disclosure, Agility would like to announce that it has acquired through its fully owned subsidiary, Agility Strategies Holding Limited “ASHL”, an additional 5.3 million shares in John Menzies PLC “Menzies” representing approximately 5.8% of Menzies’ total ordinary shares at a price of £6.05 per share for a total consideration of around £32 million (around KD 13 million). This will increase Agility’s ownership in Menzies to 19%.
This will be reflected in the company’s financials as per the applicable accounting standards.
