Agility would like to announce that the Egyptian government today has retained Agility to develop and operate customs and logistics centers in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, one of the most important trade hubs in the region. Agility will work with SCZone to implement its strategic vision in the areas of services, logistics, and industrial zone support by establishing a technical and logistical arm that will automate customs processes and operations in the SCZone.
Agility will invest around USD 60 million (around KD 18 million) to develop the required logistics infrastructure and hubs in the SCZone. The return cannot be assessed at this time.
