The Suez Canal passage is currently blocked to vessels in both directions, as a result of a container ship which ran aground early Tuesday March 23.
Unfortunately, attempts to refloat the vessel during the night have failed, and we currently don’t have any indication of how long this process will take. The incident continues to create long tailbacks on the waterway, stopping vessels from passing and causing severe delays.
We are working to identify any Agility customers who have been impacted and will share information regarding schedule changes and alternative options, as soon as this becomes available.
