Reference to our previous disclosures dated 02 November 2020, Agility would like to announce that the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Tribunal in London has ruled in favor of its Subsidiary NAS Afghanistan, now part of “Menzies” in the dispute between National Aviation Services and NAS Afghanistan on one side and (1) Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority (2) Afghanistan Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation (3) ARIANA Afghan Airlines Co. Ltd on the other side following the illegal termination of the aviation services concession by the Government of Afghanistan in 2020. The Tribunal has issued a final and binding award compensating NAS Afghanistan for damages in the amount of approximately USD 26 million plus interest.
The amount USD 26 million (around KD 8 million) will be reflected in the company’s financials when collected.
