Quality processing system fulfills customer orders more efficiently

An American multinational confectionery, food and beverage company was confronted with two opposing challenges: Customer requests had to be filled in a short time frame, but it had long-term payment dates. The distance between the factory and ports is 700 kilometers, which increased risk of missed departure and freight pilferage. Temperature control is also essential when shipping consumable products, and the company demanded fixed pricing for two years. Agility used its connections with key maritime lines and relied on existing equipment to help fix pricing. Since July 2015, Agility’s introduction of a high-quality system to process customer requests and payments has expedited business. We handled 182 containers in 2015, 308 containers in 2016, and continue to serve the customer in 2017 by delivering all containers on time and within necessary food regulation requirements.
