The Mexican Ministry of Health has announced that the national lockdown for will extend until 30 May, with normal business activity expected to resume on 1 June. During this period, all nonessential businesses are suspended, and citizens have been encouraged to stay at home. There are currently no restrictions on commercial flights, and freighter flights are operating as normal, although with significant capacity constraints. Ocean freight services and ports are operating as normally, although a reduction in work force is affecting their operations, and there are currently shortages in equipment and containers. Road freight is running normally within the city limits, whilst cross border trucking is experiencing some congestion, with moderate delays at the Laredo border with the USA.
