The Indian government has announced a phased removal of the lockdown, between 1st to 31st August. Most states have allowed normal life to resume, including opening of some forms of public transport. However mass transport systems like metro and suburban rail are still not allowed to operate.
Customs clearance, road and rail cargo continue to operate as normal. Road transport has seen significant improvement compared to previous months, but is still impacted due to shortage of drivers.
