Our portfolio includes minority stakes in listed and non-listed companies in sectors such as freight forwarding, e-commerce, sustainable transport, and alternative energy. Our largest investment is in global transport provider, DSV, following the sale of our logistics business to DSV in 2021. Our History

  • Established in Kuwait as a state-owned company: Public Warehousing Company (PWC)
  • Privatized, with a strategy to grow core operations, infrastructure and warehousing business across the Middle East
  • Period of major acquisition & investment: 
    • Completed 40+ acquisitions to build Global Integrated Logistics (GIL) into a leading logistics company operating across 100+ countries 
    • Integrated under a single brand, “Agility” 
    • Acquired 80% of Tristar 
    • Established GCS, winning a 25-year concession for Kuwait
  • Grew highly profitable portfolio of businesses, building on our competitive edge & scale
  • NAS starts expansion into Africa
  • Acquired 88% of UPAC, a Kuwait-listed commercial real estate developer
  • Started developing logistics parks in Saudi Arabia and Africa
  • Sold GIL for an 8% stake in DSV, and became the 2nd largest shareholder in DSV
  • Acquired Menzies Aviation, plan to integrate with NAS, under the Menzies brand, to create world’s largest aviation services company by number of countries
