Flooding in Germany Impacts Logistics Operations

There is currently ongoing flooding in Germany and central Europe, resulting in a significant impact on logistics operations.

The whole Rhine River area, in the eastern parts of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg have been hit by heavy rains for a number of days and infrastructure has suffered severe damage and led to flooding.

As a result, road traffic is restricted and booked import and export shipments and containers may be affected. Barge and rail traffic are still mostly normal, but this can be subject to change at any time.
