Agility confirms that along with other players in the industry, it has concluded a settlement with the Swiss Competition Commission (ComCo) in regards to ComCo’s investigation of the air freight forwarding industry. By entering into the settlement, Agility does not acknowledge the factual allegations and legal assessment of the ComCo. Under the terms of the settlement, Agility Logistics International BV will pay CHF 907,349; a substantially reduced amount based on Agility’s cooperation in the investigation.
<div>In October 2007, the Swiss Competition Commission launched an industry-wide investigation into the setting of surcharges and fees in the air freight forwarding industry. Agility has cooperated fully with the Swiss Competition Commission during the course of investigation, and will continue to ensure full compliance with all applicable competition laws, as well as the terms of the settlement. </div>
