Agility would like to announce that it has received a provisional award for a ten year exclusive concession to provide ground handling and other airport services at Abidjan International Airport in the Ivory Coast through its 95% owned subsidiary National Aviation Services Co. (NAS). The final concession agreement is expected to be signed towards the end of October following negotiations with the relevant Ivorian government authorities and ratification by the Ministerial Cabinet.
The Ivory Coast is one of the top ten economies south of the Sahara and is one of the financial centers of West Africa, and an aviation hub of the region. The total expected revenue of the ten year concession is estimated at $250 million.
