When a leading global information and communication technology solutions provider entered the Kuwaiti market in 2009, it needed a local supply chain partner to design and operate a warehouse hub, undertake all clearance activities, and support the distribution of supplies and equipment throughout the country. Agility worked closely with the customer to establish its supply chain, providing services like customs clearance for all air and ocean shipments into Kuwait; indoor and outdoor storage for cargo; inbound, outbound and returns handling; goods receipt and verification; order processing and scheduling; and 24/7 warehouse access. Agility also moved the customer’s network equipment to the base transmitting stations (BTS) of three major mobile telecoms in Kuwait, working on a tight schedule, with 100% accuracy to ensure the customer was able to repair each BTS quickly and efficiently. The result was 99% inventory accuracy, and on-time network installation and maintenance for more than 250 sites across Kuwait.
