Agility Italy Transports Vital Auto Parts in Europe for Automaker

To prevent a shutdown in production at its Atessa, Italy plant, a prominent European automaker needed a fresh supply of parts. The automaker asked Agility to get the plastic insets parts from Turin to Atessa in eight hours. COVID-related constraints meant commercial flights and an onboard courier were not an option.

Agility Italy arranged for a charter aircraft and carefully packed the parts in suitcases despite encountering weather problems. The charter arrived in time and the automaker was able to keep production moving.
